Weekly Events

Sunday Morning Classes:

  • Focus: To teach students how to study God's word and practically apply the morning sermon through a discussion/study and small groups.
  • Impact (grades 9-12): meets at 9:30 a.m. in the Community Center Multi-purpose room and 11 a.m. in the LOFT.

Wednesdays - Options

  9th-12 Graders

  • Girls will meet at the L.O.F.T. then be transported to the Woodall’s (82 Scarborough Ct., Lafayette, In. 47905) for a great time of Bible study, serving projects, crafts, and girl talk.

        Start out going West on IN-26 toward N County Road 550 E. 0.6 mi

        Turn Right onto Goldersgreen Dr. 0.4 mi

        Turn Left onto Scarborough Ct. 0.0 mi

        End at: 82 Scarborough Ct. 0.0 mi

  • Guys will meet at the L.O.F.T. then be transported to the Harkleroad's (7615 Mobley LN, Lafayette, In. 47905)and have fun together doing serving projects, games, Bible study and guy stuff.

        Start out going East on IN-26 toward PINEVIEW LN. 2.3 mi

        Turn Right onto S County Road 775 E. 0.3 mi

        Turn Right onto Mobley LN. 0.1 mi

        End at: 7615 Mobley LN is on the LEFT 0.0 mi

  10th-12th Graders – You have Options!

  • Serve as a helper in Wed. Night Kids of Faith – This can be a semester or year long commitment of helping in a particular class. Requirements include FBC membership, willingness to fulfill the helpers role, and a love for kids.
  • Take Faith Community Institute Classes with Adults – You sign up for the applicable FCI class and participate faithfully in order to grow spiritually and associate with adults of all ages. Go to: http://www.faithlafayette.org/ministry2.aspx and click on the FCI brochure.
  • Student Ministry Serving Team – This is new. Meet right outside the L.O.F.T. in the Community Center. The serving team will be lining up and completing serving projects in the church and community on Wednesdays .
  • Student Ministry Follow-up Team. This group will be following up with those who visit our Student Ministries.
  • Ladies can join the others at the Woodall’s

Saturday Nights – “LIFELINE”

  • Focus: Opportunities for teens (grades 6-12) to build God-honoring friendships through a variety of fun activites.
  • 6-8:30 p.m. meet in the L.O.F.T. in Faith Community Center
  • We meet most Saturday nights. Occassionally we will go off-site. Watch the calendar for details.

    Special Events

Summer Missions In Teen Evangelism (S.M.I.T.E)

Each year our Student Ministry takes a trip in the Uniteds States or elsewhere around the world to share the gospel and serve others in an effort to better understand and fulfill the Great Commission in Matthew 28:19-20.

Each 9th-12th grade student must qualify by faithfully study God’s Word, Praying, Worshipping, Serving in a ministry of the local church, loving family members, and sharing the gospel…being a Christ-follower.
