There are three dreams on the horizon for FBCM. 

#1.  A New Counseling Center

Space has become an issue as both the ministries of Faith Baptist Church and FBCM have grown.  We are in constant conflict with staff offices, school classrooms, and even very small music practice rooms.  At the very same time, we expect our counseling load to increase since the church has agreed to build a home for girls and young women in trouble (teenage pregnancy, physically and sexually abused girls, girls in self-harm, etc.) and build a large community center.  In order to meet the rising demands, we have a desire to build a new counseling center.  It will house staff offices, dedicated counseling rooms, and a large area to conduct our counseling training and seminary courses (including our M.A. in biblical counseling). 

#2.  Beginning of a Master of Arts in Biblical Counseling Degree

We believe that an M.A. in biblical counseling is one of the logical next steps for our ministry.  This will be a joint venture between FBCM and Faith Bible Seminary (through which accreditation will be acheived).  In other words, we plan to bring our 25 years of counseling experience together with academic excellence (courses taught by individuals with earned doctorates in their respective fields) to produce a program that will be a benefit to pastor and lay leader alike.  This program will be open to both men and women who want to take their counseling knowledge to the next level.  While the details of the program are still being developed we expect the program to consist of 30-40 hours of courses.  The degree could be completed in about 2 years, but it may take some students (especially those with many other life responsibilities) 3 or 4 years to complete. 

#3.  Overseas Conferences in Strategic Ministry Locations

This year we are conducting a counseling conference in Moldova.  It is our goal and desire to conduct similar conferences in other strategic locations around the world.  We are particularly interested in conducting conferences in locations that could be used to reach closed areas such as China, N. Korea, India, and the muslim nations in the Middle East.  These conference tend to be expensive since it is impossible to charge the nationals our full expenses.  In addition, we seek to bring printed materials to the conferences that can be given to the attendees for future study on their own.
