• Every three seconds, someone needs blood.
• Every minute, patients use more than 36 units of blood or blood products.
• Every day, 40,000 units of blood are used throughout the country.
• Faith Community Blood Drives help meet this need.

Faith Community Ministries hosts community blood drives with Indiana Blood Center to provide blood and blood products for 60 hospitals in 29 central Indiana counties. Indiana Blood Center needs at least 500 units of blood to be collected each day in order to adequately supply these hospitals. The assistance that blood drive leaders and volunteers provides in organizing blood drives and recruiting donors is an essential part of maintaining an adequate blood supply.

The last Faith Community Blood Drive was Wednesday, April 9th, 2008. We collected 55 units of donated blood at this event.  Thank you to all those  individuals who stopped by to give life!
