Welcome to Chemistry!
In this basic chemistry course, you will learn about some of the principles and processes of the physical matter created by God. In some ways, Chemistry is like another language with its own symbols, naming, and terms. However, through those new details we will emphasize understanding fundamental concepts and principles of how matter works. Basic mathematics and algebra skills are important tools in chemistry that help us solve problems and discover scientific relationships. You will expand your views of God's power and design, your biblical and scientific thinking, and your skills in the laboratory. Our desires are to please God, testify of His greatness, positively influence others by our choices, and be better prepared for future science-related education or employment. This course will serve as a prerequisite for Advanced Chemistry. |
