There's no place quite like home, but this is close.
Faith Christian Preschool

At Faith Christian Preschool your child will receive a first-rate academic program from qualified, caring teachers. Our clean facilities, complete with well-equipped outdoor and indoor playgrounds, and access to a gymnasium, provide an environment that balances activity and learning.

Teachers That Care

Our experienced teachers have demonstrated a passion for helping young people grow and develop. Our entire preschool staff are members of local Bible-believing churches.

Minds-In-Motion Curriculum

As a Minds In Motion-certified school, we combine a first-rate academic program with activities in our playgrounds and gymnasium. Our goal is to help young people develop mentally, physically, and spiritually.

Arts, Crafts, Music, and More!

The students enjoy daily arts and crafts, as well as a music program that introduces them to a number of rhythms and instruments. We also have animals from Columbian Park Zoo visit the school regularly.

"This is my daughters first year attending faith preschool, & I cannot put into words the warm feeling I get walking inside those doors every M/W/F! Everyone from the front desk, her phenomenal teacher, and more are SO welcoming and just truly genuine. As a stay-at-home mom I've dreaded sending my child to school for obvious reasons, but choosing Faith was by far the BEST decision I've ever made!"
- Jasmine Olivas

"Max is on his third year at Faith West Preschool. He started out as an early three year old and watching his confidence and ability grow over the past few years has been incredible."
- Krista Rodriguez

"I can't put into words how grateful I am for this Christian School. I am blessed to be able to bring my son to a school where he's being taught the Word of God and Christian values. I feel that my son is safe and all the teachers and staff are amazing. From the front desk to the classroom they always show God's agape love."
- Felecia Livingston

"Faith's Preschool prepared my children for kindergarten in a fun, structured, and loving setting that was flexible enough to provide childcare while I was working. The staff was approachable and communicated with me daily while teaching my son and daughter the importance of respect, self-control, and God’s love."

Preschool Leadership

Kari Schwartz

Roles

Director - Faith Christian Preschool East - Faith Christian School

Director - Infant Care - Community Ministries East

Bio

Kari graduated from Purdue with a degree in Elementary Special Education in 2007.

"I graduated from Purdue with a degree in Elementary Special Education in 2007. While attending Purdue, I worked at the Purdue Village Preschool where I absolutely fell in love with preschool and decided to stay on after graduation. I remained at Purdue Village for 12 years as the lead teacher in the 3-year-old class. Plans were made for me to take over the directorship there when my boss retired, but unfortunately our program was shut down before that could happen. I then made a transition to Klondike Elementary School where I was a special education teacher for two years. Early childhood is my passion and I am excited to get back to it.

My husband Matt and I have two children, Jacob and Ellie. We love to go on family bike rides and have bonfires in our back yard. We are members at Faith Church East and serve there by teaching in children’s ministries.

I am truly excited to be here and want to serve you as best as I can. Please know that I am happy to speak with you about any matter, nothing is too small. My goal is to partner with you to provide your children with a loving environment that will foster academic, social, and spiritual guidance and growth. Thank you for the privilege of caring for your children."

Director, Faith Christian Preschool West - Faith Christian School

Bio

Amanda studied at Ivy Tech and Purdue University. She has taught for almost 10 years in many different capacities.

"My family is one of the most important pieces of my life. We enjoy a weekly pizza and movie night, game night, and lots of campfires. My husband and daughter have provided so much love and support; without which I would not be where I am today.

I have always had a love for children and a passion for scholarship. My journey has lead me to explore many facets of education such as special needs, homeschooling my talented daughter, and instructing toddlers.

I appreciate the unprejudiced minds of preschoolers and their readiness to learn. I am excited to to engage in their academic goals. I am eager to nurture the gifts that God has given me and the gifts I see sprouting in each child that walks through our doors!"
