PG 250 Dealing with Anger

Schedule: 6 weeks, March 7 – April 11
Room Location: Faith Church Rm. 209
Description: We all experience anger. It eats at us and shows itself in so many different ways: coldness, sarcasm, yelling, rage, self-injury, disrespect, abuse, and silence are just some of the bad expressions of this emotion.  Yet anger is one of God's holy attributes and it can be a positive force in our lives.  Would you like to understand what is really behind your anger?  Better yet, would you like to have hope that you can deal with anger in a way that is right and that pleases God?  This course, organized around Paul Tripp's DVD series titled How to be Good and Angry, helps you understand anger and learn to turn it into a constructive problem solving force in your life.
Homework: Simple weekly assignments
Fees: No cost
Instructors: Dave Jones and Sam Gardner. Dave works at Purdue and is a deacon at Faith. Sam works for the SAS Institute and is an experienced FCI and adult bible study teacher.
