Team SCCRem is a ministry opporunity that utilizes the construction trade skills of members and friends of Faith Church to serve our members and other organizations as the church leadership finds necessary. Please note, no specific skills are required to serve with us.

When/Where

We do not have a set list of projects for our calendar. We will ask for volunteer as projects become available. Workdays are Saturdays from 8am to 4pm and the projects are located in and around the Lafayette area. 

Opportunities to Serve

  •  Fellowship with other members and friends of Faith Church
  • Opportunity to use specific trade skills to minister to families and organizations
  • Opportunity to get out and work with your hands and enjoy some physical labor
  • Opportunity to learn some new trade skills

Purpose

To establish relationships with families and organizations that have construction related needs so that they may see Christ’s love through our ministry

Goals

  • Provide relief through the use of construction skills to families and organizations with limited means.
  • Engage members and friends of Faith Church to be faithful stewards
    • of the gifts and abilities God has given them
  • Build credibility with other organizations, faith based or not, in Lafayette so that they may see Christ’s love and our ability to meet the needs of others God has placed in our lives
