What is choir?
Choir is a great way to get involved in the music ministry here at Faith. It serves as a great place to learn what it means to worship and to lead others in worship. Involvement in this core group allows individuals to grow not only in their musical ability , but also in their desire to serve God’s people through other musical avenues such as worship team, smaller vocal groups, and soloists.
How can I get involved?
The choir rehearses in the auditorium from 8:10-8:40 p.m. right after FCI on Wednesdays. If you are a member of FBC (or are in the process of becoming one) and you’re interested in joining the choir, all you have to do is show up to a rehearsal and introduce yourself to Titus. He’ll get you the information you need and let you know what to do from there. Don’t worry, there are no vocal try-outs for choir other than to determine your vocal range if need be. Choir operates on a month by month basis and we expect our choir members to be dedicated and consistent in attendance and participation during the months in which they choose to be involved in choir. Choir leads in corporate worship during the 8:00am, 9:30am and 11:00am services. Again, If you’re interested in serving on the worship team or as a soloist, the choir is going to be the logical place to get involved first.
