Faith Connections is a faith-focused program for at-risk children whose parents or guardians have requested a faith-based match. At-risk children and youth between the ages of six and eighteen are eligible for this program. The volunteer time commitment is two to three hours weekly. Mentoring is a strategy that works, and the positive results of high quality mentoring programs are well documented. Adding the dimension of faith to the relationships will tremendously increase the long-term impact in the lives of the children we serve. Faith Community Ministries is striving to help meet these mentoring needs.
