Faith Community Ministries is looking forward to the many benefits that these sports camps will afford the children in our community. Athletics can serve as an effective tool of outreach as well as an opportunity to model Christ-like behavior. In addition to basic skills, the clinics will also seek to develop character and teamwork.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does the grade listed in the brochure or on the website indicate the grade my child is in currently or the grade he/she will enter in the fall? The grade listed indicates the grade the child will enter in the fall.
If my child is staying for more than one camp, can he/she stay at the Community Center for the 30 or 60 minutes between the two camps? Your child will be supervised during the 'dead time' between two consecutive camps. Many times, these campers will be able to help set up for the next camp. There will be lunch tables set up for those staying from AM to PM.
Can my child bring a snack or lunch to eat in between the two camps that he/she will be attending? Yes. There will be tables set up for campers to eat snacks or sack lunches from home.
If my child is signed up for more than one camp, will he/she get more than one camp t-shirt? Each camper will receive one camp t-shirt even if he/she is signed up for multiple camps.
If my child has never played the specific sport before, will he/she still be comfortable participating at the camp? These camps are intended to help children of all abilities learn the fundamentals and develop an interest in sports.
If my child is already signed up for Adventure Camp at the Community Center, can he/she also be signed up for one or more Sports Camps? Our staff will get any campers who are also participating in Adventure Camp. At the end of the sports camp, the camper will return to Adventure Camp at their current activity. If the Adventure Camp is at an off-site field trip, the camper may need to stay under the supervision of the sports camp staff until their group returns.
