Compassion — By seeking to be compassionate and sensitive to the physical needs around us, we follow Christ’s example when he healed the afflicted and fed a hungry multitude. James 1:27 says, “...to visit orphans and widows in their distress…."
SINGLE MOMS - This ministry strives to meet the practical, physical needs of single women, primarily within the church. This includes assistance with car inspections, oil changes, school supplies, and access to the food pantry and clothing closet. A single mom is "adopted" by the church family who will remain in contact with her at least once a month. Single moms or church families interested in this ministry may contact Deb Crussel.
CAR WORKS - This ministry is for single moms and widows in the church to have the opportunity to sign up for a complimentary oil change done by qualified volunteers from Faith. The next event takes place in January 2010. You must have an appointment to get your oil changed. To register your vehicle (please have make, model, year, and engine size available) or for more information, contact Deb Crussel or Brenda McMillan (765 654 6388). All appointments must be made by Saturday before the CarWorks event.
