Discipleship is an important part of growth and building godly friendships. The discipleship ministries are designed to assist and encourage spiritual growth. We hope to follow the Proverbs 27:17 model, “As iron sharpens iron; so one man sharpens another.”

FAITH COMMUNITY INSTITUTE CLASSES - These classes are meant to educate and reach out to a large group of women in a formal setting.  Wednesday night classes are held in the spring and fall.  For more information about FCI classes, contact Janet Aucoin at (765) 404-0982.

SMALL GROUP MINISTRIES - Ladies Bible Studies meet on a regular basis to study and apply God's Word.  Ladies' Accountability Groups also meet on a regular basis to establish short-term accountability.  Both small group formats strive to provide spiritual fellowship and build godly friendships.  For more information about Ladies Bible Studies or Accountability Groups, contact Rhonda Hopkins.

TUESDAY (each group meets every other Tuesday) -

• Bible study group studying the book of Mark meets at 12:15 p.m. at Vision of Hope, Janet Aucoin is the leader of this group.
• Accountability group using counseling booklets meets at 6:30 p.m. on the south side of Lafayette (off 9th Street), Diana Aaron is the leader of this group.
• Accountability group meets at 7 p.m. on the east side of Lafayette, Gaylene Hayden is the leader of this group.
• Group studying Idols of the Heart by Elyse Fitzpatrick meets at 7 p.m. in the LOFT at FCC, Amy Knolhoff is the leader of this group.  This group meets EVERY Tuesday.

WEDNESDAY -

• Group studying Because He Loves Me by Elyse Fitzpatrick meets at 10 a.m. every other Wednesday at the Refior farm (north side of Lafayette), Nikki Lambeth leads this group.
• Group studying Trusting God by Jerry Bridges meets at 6:45 p.m. every other Wednesday at Debbie Toth's house (near FBC), Debbie Toth leads this group.
• Unique Vessels group meets during church (6:30 p.m.) at Mildred Goode's house, Mildred Goode and Cheryl Batchelor lead this group.  See below for more information.

THURSDAY (meets on the 3rd Thursday of each month) - Group studying Because He Loves Me by Elyse Fitzpatrick meets at Wanda Smith's house (Frankfort), Patti Childes and Wanda Smith lead this group.

FRIDAY (meets every other Friday) - Accountability group meets at 3:40 p.m. at Faith Christian School, Nicole Hume leads this group.

SATURDAY -

• Accountability group meets at 7 a.m. at a yet-to-be-determined location, Cheri Sagendorf leads this group.
• Group studying Life Management for Busy Women by Elizabeth George meets every other Saturday at 8 a.m. in room 110 at FBC, Pam Griese and Rosemary Wright lead this group.
• Group studying Because He Loves Me by Elyse Fitzpatrick meets at 8 a.m. at FBC, Deb Trilus leads this group.

Unique Vessels is another small group ministry and it challenges women to grow in the area of living and eating in a self-controlled way that pleases God.  Weight loss is not a focus of the group, but may be a benefit of the program.  For more information, contact Cheryl Batchelor at (765) 589-3416.
