KW 110 Family and Friends CPR
Schedule: March 5, Faith Community Center Room 1, 6:30 – 9:30 p
Fees: $8.00 to be paid upon arrival
Course Description: This class will have both instructional time, as well as hands-on learning. Class size is limited to 40 participants due to the number of mannequins.
Instructors: Maureen Grady and Jenny Boget. Maureen Grady is a certified CPR instructor through the American Heart Association. Jenny Boget, RN, has her bachelor’s degree in nursing and works with the Kathryn Weil Center for Education at St. Elizabeth Regional Health.

KW 120 Plan-it BABY!

Course Content: Good pre-pregnancy health is fundamental in the health of your baby, helping to provide both mom and baby with the best possible outcome. This class is open to anyone who is considering pregnancy in the future and will provide information about pre-pregnancy health check ups, genetic screening, nutrition, folic acid, ovulation predictors, healthy lifestyle choices, exercise, and hazards to avoid.

KW 130 Teens and Tobacco

Course Content: Learn about the various new ways teens are struggling with tobacco and how to help your teen understand its dangers.

KW 140 Total Family Nutrition
Schedule: April 2, 16, 30, Faith Community Center Room 1, 6:30 – 8:00 p
Fees: No Cost
Course Content: Session 1 deals with nutrition for preschoolers. Session 2 deals with nutrition for teens (fast food do’s and don'ts etc.). Session 3 deals with family or adult nutritional needs with a focus on how to read nutrition labels, shopping hints, calories, and healthy oils.
