PG 361 Women Discipling Women

Course Description: Has a friend ever said to you, “You should never wear that blouse with that skirt”? It may have been great advice. So what kind of advice are you giving to your friends and family? When you’re sitting in the coffee shop talking with a friend or Facebooking, what words of wisdom are you sharing? Does your mind race to help your mouth explode with just the right words? Great News: Any woman, given the correct tools of course, can be an effective mentor for other women. You will be able to confidently answer the question, “What would you do if you were me?” and know that you’re giving good counsel. Sound impossible? Come learn how women can be great godly mentors for one another. For an added bonus, we will explore timeless truths we should pass on to our daughters while they’re still under our influence.

You and I, daughters of Eve, have followed in her footsteps. We have listened to Satan's lies, believed them and acted on them. As result, we have lived in bondage. Jesus came that we might have abundant life. Are you ready to be set free? Let's expose Satan's lies and reveal Jesus' truth that sets us free through this study on the book Lies Women Believe by Nancy Leigh DeMoss. We will be discussing the reading material that has been assigned each week in the Lies Women Believe book.
Homework: Weekly reading assignments will be assigned in the Lies Women Believe book.

Course Description: A natural outgrowth of Wmen of Character 1 (PG 340) is its reflection in our behavior. This class helps us examine how to live our lives from a biblical perspective. We will be learning how to control our tongues, manage our priorities, consider our outward appearance, grow in purity, mature in our faith, and respond to the sin of others. This course combines some materials from Woman of Character 1 with additional content and topics. This course will be using the Woman of Character 2 Workbook.

PG 255 Unique Vessels - FULL
Schedule: 7 weeks, Mar. 3 - Apr. 14
Fees: $10.00 materials cost; course materials can be purchased through the Faith Resource Center.
Course Description: This course focuses on helping women develop a biblical view of stewardship of the body. Instead of more "resolutions," this class focuses on learning how to please God in the areas of eating and exercise. Participants are required to read the book Love to Eat, Hate to Eat by Elyse Fitzpatrick and participate in weekly accountability. This class will be held at a special location; therefore, if you are interested in attending, please call the Church Office at 765-448-1986 for more information.
