Computer Science Department

Junior High students learn basic keyboarding and computer applications, then improve these skills in 8th grade by creating and designing their own newspaper using Word, Excel, Paint, and other Microsoft applications.

Advanced High School students learn about computer science in the real world, including four fundamental focus areas:  theory, tools, modeling, and programming. They begin with PC and electronic "tear down" to see what’s "under the hood", then investigate cyber security, networking, hacking, modeling and programming.  Robots are even likely to visit the classroom/laboratory!
