Stats began October 2011
Accelerated Reader (AR) is a popular reading program that provides personalized reading practice for each student; assesses performance; and allows teachers, students, and parents to see student progress. Faith uses Accelerated Reader as a core part of reading in elementary grades.
The AR Process
-
Student Reads a Book. Students choose books at their appropriate reading levels and read them at their own pace. Parents can use AR BookFinder or talk to your child’s teacher to help select books.

- Student Takes a Quiz. Accelerated Reader Enterprise offers more than 140,000 quizzes to help you motivate and monitor students’ reading and vocabulary growth.
-
You Get Information. Teachers get immediate feedback on the reading and vocabulary progress of each student. Parents can view student status and growth at AR Home Connect.
