Neighborhood Bible Groups

Neighborhood Bible Groups exist to glorify God by promoting community that fosters growth in relationship with God and other.

Our Vision

A Neighborhood Bible Group is to be a community of singles, couples, and families who range from folks brand new to the Bible to seasoned Christians seeking to grow in relationship with God and others.

Our Goal

The goal of every NBG is to make healthy disciples of Christ who make new disciples. Every NBG should be seeking to grow in fruitfulness (spiritual growth, faithfulness in good works, and numerically).

Our Core Values

In order to accomplish the goal set out for NBGs, every group should have the core values as a part of the life of their group.

  1. Community – Disciples grow by meeting together on a regular basis (Hebrews 10:24-25).
  2. Scriptural Application – Disciples grow by applying Scripture to their lives (James 1:22-25).
  3. Accountability – Disciples grow by opening their hearts to others who care for them (Proverbs 20:5).
  4. Prayer – Disciples grow by praying for one another (James 5:16)
  5. Outreach – Disciples grow by sharing the hope they have and by serving their communities (1 Peter 2:12; 3:15)
