Food Pantry & Clothing Closet

We provide clothing and non-perishable food to community members who are in need due to financial distress from loss of income, loss of a home through natural disaster, or other circumstances. We also endeavor to help families who are meeting the needs of children who have been removed from their home as a protective measure.

Food Pantry

The Food Pantry is stocked with donated non-perishable food items. Donated food or monetary gifts come from corporate grocer donations, government programs such as the USDA, local food drives, or personal gifts to the Pantry.

Clothing Closet

The Clothing Closet is filled with donated new or gently used clothing. Donated clothing is provided by individuals or corporate retail organizations, or through monetary gifts with which needed items are purchased.

Closet hours: Tuesdays, 9:00 am - 12:00 pm and 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm. Visits are by appointment only.

Appointments and Referrals

Volunteer Opportunities

We ask our volunteers to serve once a month on a Tuesday for four hours as a Store Attendant, or flexible hours working behind the scenes helping with inventory control (i.e., rotating, stocking, shopping, etc.).

Store Attendant

When our guests arrive, we have them fill out their grocery list. One of the volunteers then goes to the storage room and fills their order. We bring it back to them in bags and offer to take it to their car. We reschedule them again in four weeks, if necessary.

Our shoppers shop once a week at Food Finders due to low costs. Often we cannot get all we need there, so we also shop at Wal-Mart and Aldi. All costs are paid for by Faith Community Ministries.
