Equipping ministry professionals and lay leaders - through in-person and virtual training - to skillfully, confidently, and lovingly minister God's Word to those looking for answers.
Since 1977, Faith has been offering counseling and training based on God’s sufficient Word that seeks to take the truth of the gospel and address issues in ways that are biblical, compassionate, and comprehensive. By God’s grace and to His glory, tens of thousands of women and men have been trained using these principles in the US and around the world.
However, today is an entirely new day. When the pandemic hit, we learned valuable lessons about how effective certain kinds of virtual training can be, and how desirable it is to many people around the world. So now we’re able to provide all six tracks of our training throughout the calendar year in a broader array of formats than at any other time in our history.
Self-Guided registrants will have online access to the lectures for 30 days, and In-Person and Instructor-Guided registrants will have online access to the lectures for 30 days after the conclusion of their sessions.
The pandemic forced us (along with the rest of the world) to reevaluate everything, and it allowed us to specifically step back and ask ourselves, "How can we move forward with - and improve - the conference experience for our guests?" Following are some of the changes that resulted from that evaluation process.
Reduced Pricing: Instead of single guests paying from $285 to $335, their cost is now $199 to $229, and instead of couples paying $480 to $530, their cost is now $398 to $458.
Increased Choices: All of our conference attendees at any of our conferences can choose to download 1 of 3 different versions of digital notes for free, or they can purchase a physical notebook for $29.99. Our February conference guests can now choose to attend in-person or virtually. With more and more people choosing specialized diets, and with over 50 restaurants available less than 10 minutes away from the February conference site, we are expanding the lunch break to 1.5 hours in order to allow our guests to make their own midday meal choice.
Greater Flexibility: Not only are all of the tracks available virtually to the in-person attendees during the week of the February conference (not feeling well? stay in your hotel room and watch the sessions online), but all of the in-person and virtual attendees at all of our conferences will have 30-day on-demand access to all of the lectures after the close of the conference. Please note that one of natural results of this option is that registration fees are no longer refundable, nor are they transferable to other individuals because, even if you are unable to attend in-person, you will still have on-demand access to your track's sessions for 30 days after the close of the conference.
Tracks 2, 3, 4, and 6 have been approved for 20 continuing education credit hours. The credits will be awarded to you if you check that you would like them during the registration process and you check in for each session. This only applies to the credits needed for the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC). If you have any questions feel free to reach out to us at conferences@faithlafayette.org.
We will provide every registrant with a complimentary set of digital notes in a couple of different formats. Once those notes are made available on your event portal, you can download the digital file of your choice to print your notes in advance or to save to your favorite note-taking app.
Those who would like a physical hard-copy notebook will be given the option to order a physical notebook for $29.99 when they register for an event.
No, the the registration for one of our training events grants use to a single user (you) only and is not to be shared with others. "Watch parties" are permissible, however, if all of the attendees have registered for the training event.
