Equipping You to Encourage Others
Biblical Counseling Training Conferences

Equipping ministry professionals and lay leaders - through in-person and virtual training - to skillfully, confidently, and lovingly minister God's Word to those looking for answers.

A New Training Paradigm

Since 1977, Faith has been offering counseling and training based on God’s sufficient Word that seeks to take the truth of the gospel and address issues in ways that are biblical, compassionate, and comprehensive. By God’s grace and to His glory, tens of thousands of women and men have been trained using these principles in the US and around the world.

However, today is an entirely new day. When the pandemic hit, we learned valuable lessons about how effective certain kinds of virtual training can be, and how desirable it is to many people around the world. So now we’re able to provide all six tracks of our training throughout the calendar year in a broader array of formats than at any other time in our history.

How it Works

3. Enjoy 30-day Access to All Lectures

Self-Guided registrants will have online access to the lectures for 30 days, and In-Person and Instructor-Guided registrants will have online access to the lectures for 30 days after the conclusion of their sessions.

Frequently Asked Questions

How is the In-Person #BCTConf different from previous years?

The pandemic forced us (along with the rest of the world) to reevaluate everything, and it allowed us to specifically step back and ask ourselves, "How can we move forward with - and improve - the conference experience for our guests?" Following are some of the changes that resulted from that evaluation process.

Reduced Pricing: Instead of single guests paying from $285 to $335, their cost is now $199 to $229, and instead of couples paying $480 to $530, their cost is now $398 to $458.

Increased Choices: All of our conference attendees at any of our conferences can choose to download 1 of 3 different versions of digital notes for free, or they can purchase a physical notebook for $29.99. Our February conference guests can now choose to attend in-person or virtually. With more and more people choosing specialized diets, and with over 50 restaurants available less than 10 minutes away from the February conference site, we are expanding the lunch break to 1.5 hours in order to allow our guests to make their own midday meal choice.

Greater Flexibility: Not only are all of the tracks available virtually to the in-person attendees during the week of the February conference (not feeling well? stay in your hotel room and watch the sessions online), but all of the in-person and virtual attendees at all of our conferences will have 30-day on-demand access to all of the lectures after the close of the conference. Please note that one of natural results of this option is that registration fees are no longer refundable, nor are they transferable to other individuals because, even if you are unable to attend in-person, you will still have on-demand access to your track's sessions for 30 days after the close of the conference.

Will any of the tracks count for ACBC Continuing Education Credits?

Tracks 2, 3, 4, and 6 have been approved for 20 continuing education credit hours. The credits will be awarded to you if you check that you would like them during the registration process and you check in for each session. This only applies to the credits needed for the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC). If you have any questions feel free to reach out to us at conferences@faithlafayette.org.

How will I get the notes for my track's sessions?

Digital Notes

We will provide every registrant with a complimentary set of digital notes in a couple of different formats. Once those notes are made available on your event portal, you can download the digital file of your choice to print your notes in advance or to save to your favorite note-taking app.

Hard-Copy Notebook

Those who would like a physical hard-copy notebook will be given the option to order a physical notebook for $29.99 when they register for an event.

Can I share my notes/videos with others.

No, the the registration for one of our training events grants use to a single user (you) only and is not to be shared with others. "Watch parties" are permissible, however, if all of the attendees have registered for the training event.

Here's what our attendees are saying about the #BCTConf:

"[Your BCTC] was by far the most practical conference I have been to in my 13 years of ministry. The basic tools I’ve gained have been keeping me from becoming overwhelmed with people’s problems and keep hoping in the power of the Gospel, the Word, and the Spirit of God."
- Josh Kappes

"I came away from the conference... with a new, re-defined, re-organized, clearer vision of what our counseling could be and should be. Your conference probably was the difference between success and failure for our counseling ministry."
- Dennis Herrington

"My wife and I both attended and were thrilled with the depth of theology and practical application. The sessions impacted my own walk and marriage in so many ways. If I had known how great it would be, I would've recruited many more from my and other churches to join us!"
- Any Kotko

"My husband and I have been blessed by your ministry for several years. We remember our first year, probably day 2, looking at each other in awe, praising God that he had been gracious to keep us together despite the wrong heart attitudes we were now discovering we had. Track 1 revolutionized our marriage and our hearts for ministry."
- Julie Bittle

"We were blown away by your servant hearts - you guys are so in love with our Savior and it SHOWS! After returning from your conference, we felt much more equipped to encourage [our hurting church members] in Christ, and we had so much hope after seeing how your church operates."
- Chelsey Kayse
