Course description: In this classic book by CS. Lewis, we will explore the foundation upon which those of Christian faith stand. We will also consider this immensely powerful apologetic for the Christian faith comparing the challenges they faced during WWII and our current times.

Book Fee: Mere Christianity, C.S. Lewis (Any version or copy of the book can be used to participate.)

Mark Herter

Bio

Mark and his wife, Sara, have been members at Faith since 2014. Mark serves as a deacon and along with Sara as a Team Leader in the Generations ABF. Sara and Mark are both active in several church ministries, including acting as Registration Team leaders for Vacation Bible School, and also look forward to serving the community every year through Christmas for Everyone. Mark has an engineering degree from Purdue, and works as a project manager at a company that specializes in rugged, secure computer systems and servers.

Bio

Paul is the Director of Lecture Demonstrations for the Chemistry department at Purdue University and the chapter advisor for the Beta Nu chapter of the chemistry fraternity Alpha Chi Sigma. He currently is the president on the board of directors for the Pyrotechnics Guild International. Paul serves as the church clerk and is part of the technology team at Faith. Paul and his wife, Lana, joined Faith in 1978. Lana volunteers at the Northend Community Center and is part of her ABF women’s Bible Study. Paul coordinates and occasionally teaches for the Men of Faith FCI classes.
