Father to Father: How to Improve Your Family (Men Only)

Course Description: This class will be organized like a workshop with basic principles given, then the class will work together in small groups to apply these principles. We will cover topics such as: who should lead in the home? Is the family a team or a monarchy? Who is responsible for leading the children’s development? What is gospel-centered parenting? What are the keys to conflict resolution in the home? How are the basic principles of communication the same for a family? What are the fundamental dynamics of the biblical family? As we progress through the six week class, we can also discuss topics requested by attendees.

Bio

Paul is the Director of Lecture Demonstrations for the Chemistry department at Purdue University and the chapter advisor for the Beta Nu chapter of the chemistry fraternity Alpha Chi Sigma. He currently is the president on the board of directors for the Pyrotechnics Guild International. Paul serves as the church clerk and is part of the technology team at Faith. Paul and his wife, Lana, joined Faith in 1978. Lana volunteers at the Northend Community Center and is part of her ABF women’s Bible Study. Paul coordinates and occasionally teaches for the Men of Faith FCI classes.
