Growing in Prayer Together

Course description: When it comes to the matter of prayer, we all flourish and fumble in different ways. Using Tyler Staton’s book and other resources, we will set out to develop a stronger prayer life, looking at practical approaches to communicating with God, and setting aside a portion of each class to pray. This class is not intended to be a comprehensive study on prayer; rather, it is designed for beginners, strugglers, and anyone who wants to find encouragement in praying to the Lord.

Book: Praying Like Monks, Living Like Fools, by Tyler Staton (recommended but not required)

Bio

Adam and his wife Gabriela have 4 children and have been members of Faith Church since 2003. He teaches in the Peacemakers ABF class and periodically during FCI. He serves on the Northend Community Center Care Team and is an ex-officio member of the Faith CDC board. Adam has worked for the City of Lafayette since 2008 and is the Community Advocate and Resource Navigator for the Lafayette Police Department.
