Dave and Barb Herron come to FCS from the college level.  They arrived as part time faculty/staff in May of 2015.  They spent the previous 21 years in Northeast WI as part of the faculty/staff at Northland International University.  Barb was the office manager for the Athletic Department for the first 19 years and then served as the President's Assistant until 2015.  Dave was an Associate AD for the first 17 years and then took over the reigns as AD in 2013.  Dave was also an instructor at the college level teaching in the Physical Education department teaching Anatomy/Physiology, Kinesiology, and activity classes.  Both Dave and Barb have a love for athletics and the challenges it brings.
Most of the experiences Dave and Barb bring with them are as coaches.  During their time a NIU, they were the coaches of both the men's and women's volleyball teams.  This brings the most memories for them as they transitioned here.  They enjoyed the daily discipline, diligence and development of team building.  Many of the Herron's volleyball alumnus are coaching now at the high school and college level. The Herron's have enjoyed getting to know the ministry here at FCS and are depending on God to give them grace to fulfill their duties here.
