Israel Roldán was born and raised in Mexico City where he grew up as the son of a pastor for more than sixteen years. From an early age, he demonstrated a heart committed to serving and caring for others. Israel began taking courses in biblical counseling, and through that training the Lord stirred his heart to grow in the knowledge of God and to pursue full-time ministry. In May 2024, he married his wife Samantha, who shares his passion and calling for ministry. Together, they desire to devote their lives to faithfully serving Christ wherever He leads them. For this purpose, they have come to Lafayette to receive further training in order to serve the Lord more effectively. During his Master of Divinity (M.Div.) internship, Israel and his wife Samantha will be serving with the Hispanic ministry at Faith Church.
