Course Description: This course is an in-depth study of the life, ministry, and teaching of the Lord Jesus Christ taken from the books of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. It will travel through all the major events of the life of Christ including the Incarnation, the calling of the Disciples, the miracles, the events leading up to the crucifixion, the crucifixion and resurrection and many, many others. The author’s intent and the audiences of the books will also be highlighted. The aim of this course is to help the student to have a greater understanding of all the major life events of Jesus as they journey through the Gospels to discover these rich truths.

Note: This class meets the requirements toward the NT bible knowledge certificate course.

Bio

Aaron Patton and his wife, Ella, have been members at Faith Church since 2001. They have four children: Elijah, Jacob, Samuel, and Kathryn. Aaron works at Purdue University in the Department of Horticulture & Landscape Architecture where he researches and teaches Turfgrass Science (care of athletic fields, lawns, sod farms, golf courses, etc.). At Faith, Aaron and Ella teach Sunday school for 1st and 2nd grade children. Aaron serves on the Faith Counseling Ministries and the Faith Christian School committees.
