Infant Care Manager - Community Ministries East

Bio

I first discovered my passion for working with children back in 2010 when I first began working at a childcare center on a military base where I was at for almost 3 years. At that point in time, I had felt God direct my path to devote my time as a new mother as He blessed my husband and I with our first of our two girls.

While I functioned as a stay at home mom, I was still able to continue working with kids throughout the years. I enjoyed various roles of being a children’s Sunday school teacher, working in childcare at the YMCA, volunteering in the children’s ministry at church, and volunteering as a CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) for abused and neglected children. I was also able to complete my Associates degree in Business Management and then a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a minor in church ministry, all from Liberty University.

In 2018 I started working for Faith Infant Care as a teacher in the two’s room. When Susan asked me to join her as co-manager, I was both honored and full of excitement! This is exactly the position I had been praying for God to lead me to in order for me to use my degree and past experience in childcare for His Glory, serving in a Christian ministry!
