Course description: One of Scripture’s chief motivations for the believer to live a faithful life is the future motivation of standing before the Lord, giving an account for their actions and words, and receiving rewards from Jesus, their Judge and Savior. What does it mean to lay up treasures in heaven? What does the Bible teach about eternal rewards, and how should that affect my daily life? Join us to study the judgment seat of Christ, the existence and nature of eternal rewards, and the just and gracious character of our Judge. We’ll see how living to please Jesus gives us freedom and hope in the midst of the trials and challenges we face.

Note: We will not have class on October 22 due to Fall Break.

Josh Aucoin grew up attending Faith Church and has been involved with the music ministry since 2012. While pursuing his MDiv degree at Faith Bible Seminary, Josh served at Faith Church as a pastoral intern with the worship and college ministries before joining the pastoral team in the summer of 2022. Josh now oversees the worship ministries and assists Pastor Trey Garner with children’s ministries. Josh married his wife, Noelle, in the summer of 2020, and they have one daughter, Arielle, who was born in the fall of 2023.
