Location: Faith Church East (5526 SR 26 East, Lafayette)

Class time: 6:30-8:00 p.m. (dates listed below)

Course description: There are many theological truths in Scripture that if they are not held together in tension, you’ll fall into a theological ditch. And those ditches produce sinful responses, thinking, and consequences in our life.

Here are a few of the theological tensions we may focus on in this class:

  • God’s Sovereignty and Human Responsibility
  • God’s transcendence and God’s Immanence
  • God’s Immutability and God Anthropopathism (i.e God showing emotions in the present time)
  • Patiently enduring evil vs. Rebuking Sharply
  • Grace vs. Law

Note: We will not have class on October 22 due to Fall Break.

Schedule:
  • Oct 8
  • Oct 15
  • Oct 29
  • Nov 5
  • Nov 12
  • Nov 19
