Required Book: No Reason to Hide by Erwin Lutzer

Course Description: In our ever-changing world, we need to work on how to communicate the love of Christ. Communicating sometimes means learning new vocabulary so we understand and can lovingly communicate. For example, if a neighbor or co-worker asks you what you think of CRT, Critical Race Theory, or the company’s DEI Diversity, Equity, and Inclusivity program how would you respond? Or what if in general conversation someone asks you for your thoughts on Social Justice or gender fluidity? How can you talk with someone on these topics when they are so controversial and can be divisive? How do we get the focus back on the gospel when discussing these topics? The book “No Reason to Hide” by Erwin Lutzer will be used as our text each week. Lutzer encourages us to “stand for Christ in a collapsing culture.”
