FBC 201 The Basic Christian Life

Description: What is the Christian life all about? How does a person grow spiritually or change a bad habit? What is the place of the Bible, prayer, and worship in daily life? What does the Bible say about dealing with conflict? This class develops some basic principles to help guide a Christian’s life.

BI 275 Decision Making and the Will of God
Schedule: 6 weeks, March 7 – April 11

Description: Do you struggle in making wise decisions? This course is designed to help each participant become skillful in understanding God’s will for his or her life, and His way of guiding His children with the Scriptures.

BI 106 Moment by Moment (New)
Schedule: 6 weeks, March 7 –April 11
Room Location: Faith Church Rm. 215
Description: This class will focus on what it means to live your faith out day to day. It is important that we are reading our Bibles, but often we aren’t equipped to apply it. This class will spend time discussing how to apply the Scriptures and sharing how God’s Word is shaping our lives. There will also be a focus on developing a life of prayer. The application of these two disciplines, as well understanding how God makes us more like Christ, will be studied in this class.

Instructor: Joe Mieden is a pastoral intern at Faith Church under Pastor Brent Aucoin. He is a part of Faith Bible Seminary and is expected to graduate in May 2013 with a Masters of Divinity.
BI 170 Building a Reasonable Faith
Schedule: 6 weeks, March 7 – April 11
Room Location: Faith Church Rm. 205
Description: This course will examine how Scripture, fulfilled prophecy, archeology, and history work together to create a solid foundation for our faith. Going beyond blind faith, it will demonstrate that taking Christ as our Lord and Savior is a reasonable response to the evidence that God has given us.

Instructor: Brent Smitley. Brent holds a degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from Purdue University. He works as a product design engineer and engineering manager.
BI 315 Expanding Your Horizons

Description: Learn how to be involved in the excitement of God’s global work with this introduction to Faith Global Ministries.

BI 400 Knowing God
Schedule: 6 weeks, April 18 – May 23
Room Location: Faith Church Rm. 203
Description: A survey of the basic doctrines taught in Scripture regarding God, His Person, and His Works. The course will discuss the Existence of God, our ability to know Him, His attributes, His works, His sovereignty, and the doctrine of the Trinity.

Instructor: Jonathan Barrette. Jonathan Barrette works for Caterpillar as a Supply Chain Supervisor. He and his wife Erin have been married for 14 years and have three children. Jonathan is currently involved in various Men's Ministries.
PG 387 Serving the Lord in the Workplace (New)
Schedule: 6 weeks, April 18 – May 23
Room Location: Faith Church Rm. 216
Description: Adults spend most of their day where they are employed. It should not surprise us that living for Christ in the workplace is difficult and could be frustrating. This class will draw upon examples out of the book of Daniel on how to best live for the Lord Jesus Christ. All one needs is a Bible and a learner's attitude and we will begin to explore how others represented the Lord Jesus Christ in their place of employment.

Instructor: Lee Morrison. Lee is a deacon at Faith Church and he also serves on staff at Faith Biblical Counseling Ministries. He has been employed in higher education at Ivy Tech Community College and is currently working at Purdue University.
BI 136 Suffering and the Sovereignty of God (New)
Schedule: 6 Weeks, April 18 – May 23

Description: Have you ever struggled with a loss in your family, illness, or pain. Have you wondered how God could allow this suffering? You are not alone. This course is designed to explore what the Scriptures have to say about suffering and how God uses suffering in a believers life.

Instructor: Corbit White. Corbit is a pastoral intern at Faith Church. He is preparing to be a missionary and minister in Germany.
CH 406 Everything Old is New(er) Again (New)
Schedule: 6 weeks, April 18 – May 23
Room Location: Faith Church Rm. 211
Description: History doesn’t have to be a dry, boring, memorization of facts. Join us was we take a look and the vibrant, relevant, and controversial history of the Christian church. This class will focus on the Church as it breaks the bonds of Rome in the Reformation and spreads to the New World.
