Aaron Birk

Aaron is married to Tirzah and has four children: Zemirah, Boaz, Keziah, and Isaiah. Aaron is the Pastor of Global Missions for Faith Church. He serves as a service Pastor for the 11:00 a.m. worship service at Faith West. Aaron oversees international student and family ministries, missionaries, and short-term missions. He teaches in Faith’s Biblical Counseling Ministries and is certified as a biblical counselor through the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC).

John is the Director of Faith Global Missions. John has a Bachelor's degree in accounting, two masters degrees and and brings 20+ years of business experience to the table as the servant-leader of Faith Global Missions. On the ministry side, John has served in a number of leadership positions in a variety of church settings including a church plant that started in the Newlins' small second-story apartment and serving as youth leader, deacon, and biblical counselor in an established rural church.

John and his family have served at Faith since 2013 in a number of ways. John is excited for the opportunity to take the gospel to the nations not only in church planting but also in "teaching all that Jesus has commanded" through preaching, teaching, and biblical counseling.

Newton Pena

Pastor Newton Pena has been married with his wife, Yadir, for 30 years. They have one son, Josue. They relocated to Lafayette, IN, from the Dominican Republic in 2013 in order for him to enroll in the M. Div. program at Faith Bible Seminary. With 20 years of pastoral experience working in a variety of ministries settings, pastor Newton joined the staff to lead Faith Church initiative for Latin America and to work as the Pastor of Counseling and Hispanic Ministries of Faith Church. He is an ACBC certified counselor, instructor and counselor at FBCM, and a conference speaker.

Our Missions Committee

The missions committee serves by expanding global missions awareness to Faith Church, implementing Faith Church's global mission initiatives, and considering and evaluating global opportunities for partnership in the gospel.

The members of our Missions Committee are Michael Cantu, Ashish Dhingra, Mike Garner, Mary Beth Kenney, Nico Setiawan, Sarah Setiawan.
