How We've Designed Our Training Opportunities

National and Regional Conferences

During our national or regional conferences, you will have the opportunity to get to know hundreds of other Biblical Counselors (all at different stages in their counseling expertise), and you'll get to sit under the teaching of experienced Biblical counselors who have been teaching and counseling for decades.

11-week Monday Training Course

This affordable counseling course will give you a solid foundation of practical Biblical counseling knowledge. The course will prepare you to take Biblical principles and apply them to real life circumstances. The course program and structure is based on over 25 years of Biblical counseling training.

Masters in Biblical Counseling Program

This 36-credit masters program starts in the classroom and finishes in the counseling room. You'll grow your foundation of Biblical counseling knowledge, learn how to apply Biblical principles to topics like family problems, worry, fear, pornography, and others, and have the opportunity to practice what you learn through real counseling sessions.

International Training Efforts

We conducted counseling conferences and training opportunities in several countries, but most recently our efforts have been focused in several Latin American countries.

What is Biblical Counseling?

Biblical Counseling is the process where the Bible, God’s Word, is related individually to a person or persons who are struggling under the weight of personal sin and/or the difficulties with suffering, so that he or she might genuinely change in the inner person to be pleasing to God.

Our Mission

Back in 1977, Faith Biblical Counseling Ministries started in the basement of an old church building in Lafayette, IN. Since then, it has dedicated itself to evangelizing the lost and discipling believers whose lives are full of troubles and difficulties. Our mission is two-fold:

  1. Provide excellent biblical counseling to anyone who wants it free of charge.
  2. Provide excellent training to help equip other to counsel those in their churches and communities.
