If you are interesting in having a Parenting and Technology 1-day conference here is a sample schedule.

8:00-8:30am Check in and continental breakfast

8:30-9:30am – Session 1 Introduction and Overview of Technology Trends

A discussion of popular technology and social media trends and how they impact popular culture.

9:30-9:45am - Break

9:45-10:45am – Session 2 A Biblical Response to Technology Trends

Does the Bible have anything to say about current technology and how we use it?  How should we respond and help teach our children to lead lives that honor the Savior in both the physical and virtual worlds?

10:45-11:00am - Break

11:00-12:00pm – Session 3 Let’s get Geeky

In order to learn how to help our kids learn we have to get our hands dirty.  Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, iTunes, etc.  Learn how they work so we can help our children.  Bring your questions; everyone will be at a different level so we can all learn and help each other.

12:00-1:00pm Lunch

1:00 -2:00pm - Session 4 Technology to Manage Technology

How do we teach responsibility and provide accountability through technology?  A discussion of what’s out there and how to use it to do more than just spy on your kids.
