The following people serve in leadership positions within Faith Legacy Foundation. FLF Directors are elected to three-year terms while the Executive Director is selected by the directors. Fund management for the foundation is handled through a Certified Financial Planner at Smith Barney, Lafayette.

Arvid is Faith Ministries’ Director of Development. He joined Faith in 1979 and returned in 2003; his wife, Edris, joined in 2000. Arvid co-created and serves in both the Lafayette Living Nativity and the Lafayette Passion Play. He also teaches classes in Faith Community Institute and serves in the Proclaimer’s ABF. Arvid is currently serving as Board Secretary of Faith Christian School, Inc. and is the Executive Director of Faith Legacy Foundation, Inc. He also sits on two Greater Lafayette Commerce boards and currently serves as the Chair of the GLC Chamber Council.

Greg works as an insurance agent for Bill C. Brown Associates and American United Life. He is the past president and a current board member of the Lafayette chapter of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors. Greg is a graduate of Leadership Lafayette and is a member of the Purdue Student Union Board Alumni Association and Purdue Alumni Association. Greg and Barb have been members of Faith Church since 2001. Greg currently serves as the Secretary/Treasurer of the Faith Legacy Foundation, Inc., and serves on the Finance Committee.

Pastor Steve Viars has served at Faith Church since 1987. He and his wife Kris were married in 1982 and they have three children. Pastor Viars’ gifted teaching ministry, enthusiasm for the Word of God, and organizational skills are instrumental in equipping Faith Church. He oversees the staff, deacons, and all Faith ministries and serves on the boards of Vision of Hope and the Faith Community Development Corporation.
