Luke 1:35 came upon Mary to conceive the Christ
John 16:8 convicts the world of sin, righteousness and judgment
John 3:3,5-6 must be reborn of the Spirit
Job 26:13; Ps 33:6, 104:30 by God’s breath (Spirit) the heavens gained their beauty
Titus 3:5 renews us to salvation
2. Indwells/seals believers
John 14:16-17 The Spirit was with them (in Jesus) will be IN them when He sends the Holy Spirit
Eph 1:13-14, 4:30 sealed by the Spirit until glory
Acts 5:32 given to those who obey Him
3. Illuminates believers/ teaches and guides the church
John 16:13 guides into truth
John 15:26 testifies about Jesus
John 14:26 teaches and reminds of truth

4. Intercedes for us
Rom 8:26-27 intercedes to the Father on our behalf
5. Equips people with skills to do the Father’s will

6. Grants us the ability to grow and be sanctified/ experience the fruit of the Spirit
