Youth Cheerleading

Faith East Community Center is excited to launch a youth cheer program that is available to everyone in the Greater Lafayette community.

Philosophy

We exist to instill character traits, heart attitudes, and cheerleading skills that will honor God while cheering and in all of life's situations.

Program Information - 2025-2026

Cost

$70 per cheerleader per season

Fall Season Dates (2025)

  • Registration: August 1 - September 21
  • Program Runs: October 4 - November 22

Winter Season Dates (2026)

  • Registration: November 1 – December 25
  • Program Runs: January 10 – February 28

Age Brackets / Schedules*

* Practice/Cheer times will be announced after final registration, but will only be on Saturdays

  • Kindergarten
  • 1st - 2nd Grade
  • 3rd - 4th Grade
  • 5th - 6th Grade

General Information

  • All cheerleaders will be females taught and coached by females
  • Cheerleaders will receive instruction and then also cheer during youth basketball games
  • Please wear comfortable tennis shoes that won’t scuff up the gym floor
  • Cheer shirt, hair bow, and pom-poms will all be provided

Coaching

Cheerleaders will have fun while learning the basic movements and communication of cheerleading; but we also focus on important life skills and character traits such as responsibility, teamwork, communication, and leadership. New this season - Parent Coaches will receive mid-week training to help develop their Cheer Squads on Saturdays! We need coaches!
