Alumni Family Day

The weather is getting cooler and the leaves are starting to change, so come celebrate this time of year and connect with your fellow alumni at Dull's Tree Farm, located between Lebanon and Frankfort. We had 50 people attend this event last year, and all of our alumni and their families are invited to join us again for an afternoon of fun on Saturday, October 17. FCS alumni will receive a free ticket, and tickets for alumni spouses and children are avaialable for purchase at the group rate of $10 per person (kids age two and under are free).

Come enjoy the pumpkin patch, corn maze, tire mountain, big slides, slingshots, and wagon rides, plus over 30 other activities designed for the whole family. We will have a room reserved for snacks, drinks, and connecting with some of your fellow alumni, but most of the time will be for you to explore the Farm. The fun will start at 1:00pm, and you’re free to stay as long as you would like (the Farm closes at 7:00pm).

Special Alumni Project to Finish the Expansion Initiative

While our current students receive most of our daily attention, we believe that our 800+ alumni over the past 23 years are the heart of our mission. The teaching, investing, and discipling that happens at FCS comes to fruition in the years after graduation, when our graduates are fulfilling their God-given purpose and pursuing Christ in their studies, at their workplaces, and in their own families. Our prayer is that the foundation of a Christian education at FCS will be a truly transformational experience that directs the lives of our graduates.

As we considered the next generation of graduates, we embarked on an Expansion Initiative to transform our school by adding additional classrooms and a dedicated band room, expanding our Academic Resources program, and enhancing our building security. Construction finished in the fall of 2019, and you can hear from some of our teachers in the video to the right about how this project is already proving transformational.

As our campaign finishes at the end of this year and we are very close to being fully funded, we wanted to ask our alumni and alumni families to prayerfully consider supporting this project. You can read more about the expansion in a letter from Mr. Grass, and if you would like to join us in this project to equip the next generation of FCS students, you can click the button below to give now or let us know of your intention to give by the end of the year.
