By bidding in the FCS silent or live auction, each bidder agrees to the following rules:

1. All purchases are final, and there will be no exchanges or refunds on items unless otherwise noted. No warranties are made with respect to the value or quality of the merchandise or services auctioned, and all sales are “As Is.” Please read item descriptions carefully for restrictions, limitations, and expiration dates. Unless otherwise specified, all items and services must be used within one year.

2. The purchaser should pick up all items at FCS on Saturday, November 5th, from 10am to 12pm, unless special arrangements have been made. Any item left unclaimed, without prior arrangements, will be sold and the proceeds will go to FCS. All purchased items must be removed by the purchaser at their own expense.

3. An estimate of fair market value of all items is included on the Auction receipt, but this estimate is not warrantied by Faith Christian School for tax purposes. The amount you pay above this fair market value estimate is normally tax deductible as a charitable contribution. Please consult your tax adviser to clarify any amount of deduction.

4. Payment for items purchased must be made in full during pickup. FCS accepts cash, checks, or credit cards. Please note that credit card payments will have an additional 3rd party processing fee added to the total. This fee may be covered by our guest, or it can be paid by FCS. Checks made payable to FCS do not have any processing fee added.

5. FCS reserves the right to add or withdraw items to or from the Auction without notice. We reserve the right to revise pricing on items without notice.

6. It is the responsibility of the successful bidder to make contact with the donor as specified on the certificates. All dates and times are by mutual agreement between the purchaser and donor. Purchasers are requested to contact donors as soon as feasible following the Eagle Auction to schedule their events. All auction item activities and services must be used within one year after November 4, 2022, unless otherwise specified. Faith Christian School assumes no liability for any injuries to buyers arising from the purchase or use of any auction items.

7. During the live auction, bidders must hold up their paddle numbers (given at the check-in table) to signify their bid. The highest bidder acknowledged by the Auctioneer will be the purchaser. The Auctioneer will have the sole and final authority to determine the winning bidder. Bidders are financially responsible for the use of their paddle numbers.

8. All Teacher Wish List donations will go towards the item or project specified. The item or project may change slightly depending on availability, pricing, and the funds raised. Any excess funds will be used at the discretion of FCS.
