Friendship Celebration

Many FCS families and friends were planning to attend this year’s Friendship Celebration, but we thought that since we had to cancel the event we could bring the celebration to you! It’s a blessing to know that we don’t need to rely on our circumstances in order to celebrate God’s faithfulness, so join us in celebrating some of the many ways that God has been faithfully working in the lives of our students.

One of our themes for our high school is to provide “Transformative Experiences” for our students. We want our students to internalize the truths they have learned at Faith in a way that transforms their hearts and leads to real life change. Mr. Heusinger, our High School Principal, talks with senior Dave Devaney about how his life has been dramatically changed through the conversations and experiences he has had at FCS.

Another experience that transforms our students is the various trips that we offer. This January a group of students traveled to Mexico City to work with a local missionary and a new school that we have partnered with. We featured a story about this trip in the new edition of our school magazine, and we’re excited to show a video created by senior Rylee Schneider that details how this trip was particularly impactful for her.

In addition to being a time of celebrating the stories of how God is working at Faith Christian School, the Friendship Celebration is also our school’s biggest fundraiser of the year. We rely on the generous giving of our school community to help us expand programs and transformative experiences like the ones that you’ve seen here. We also use these funds for tuition assistance and to help us keep tuition lower for all of our school families.

Would you please consider how you might give to Faith Christian School so that we can continue to impact lives for eternity? Our goal this year is to raise $85,000 through the Friendship Celebration, and we need your help. We are grateful to celebrate the ways that God has faithfully worked at FCS, and we’re looking forward to celebrating God’s faithfulness in the coming year.
