Mission and Plans
Our Mission and Plans

As a ministry of Faith Church, Faith Christian School is dedicated to assisting Christian parents in fulfilling their God-given responsibility of training their children by providing a godly atmosphere that equips students to grow both academically and spiritually in order to serve God effectively in their home, church, and community.

Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus
Philippians 2:5

2016 State of the School Address & Future Overview

Our Statement of Faith
  1. We believe the Bible is verbally inspired by God and inerrant in the original writing, and that it is supreme, sufficient, and the final authority in faith and life.
  1. We believe in one God, eternally existing in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
  2. We believe that Jesus Christ was begotten by the Father, born of the virgin, Mary, and is true God and true man.
  3. We believe that man was created in the image of God; that he sinned and, thereby, incurred not only physical death, but also that spiritual death which is eternal separation from God; and that all human beings are born with a sinful nature and manifest themselves as sinners in thought, word, and deed.
  4. We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins, according to the Scriptures, as a substitutionary sacrifice, and that all who believe in Him are justified by grace alone, through faith alone on the grounds of His shed blood alone.
  5. We believe in the resurrection and the crucified body of our Lord, in His ascension into heaven, and in His present life there for us, as High Priest and Advocate.
  6. We believe in "that blessed hope," the personal, pre-millennial, and imminent return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
  7. We believe that all who receive by faith the Lord Jesus Christ are born again of the Holy Spirit and thereby become the children of God.
  8. We believe in the bodily resurrection of the just and the unjust, and the everlasting conscious punishment of the lost, and eternal fellowship with the Father by believers.
  9. We believe that Biblical growth is a process whereby the believer through the power of the Holy Spirit, using His Scriptures, puts off old habits and grows in the likeness of Christ.
Our Philosophy of Education

bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. Ephesians 6:4

  • Realizing that God has given the authority to the Christian home to train up successful young people, we at Faith Christian School endeavor to assist parents in the training process.

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. —Proverbs 1:7

  • We endeavor to present each subject area in light of the principles within the Word of God.

And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.  —John 8:32

  • We must stress a Biblical worldview in the vital areas of life, sin, spiritual growth, self discipline, and communication.
  • We desire to train each student to accept individual responsibility before God for his actions and to challenge him to glorify God in every facet of his life.
  • We desire to minister to the needs of the whole child and to promote his spiritual and moral growth, academic and intellectual progress, and physical and social development.
  • Academically, we desire to have a high bar that stretches every student and a safety net for students who are trying their best.
  • Spiritually, we desire to reach the heart, not just have good behavior. We want students to please God whether or not authority is present.
  • Socially, we want students to focus on others rather than themselves. God has designed us to be “givers” not “takers" in order to be truly satisfied.
Our Strategic Plan

Our strategic plan is directly connected to our core values, these include a commitment to student discipleship and spiritual growth, excellent curriculum and high academic standards, strong relationships with parents, the local church and the community, as well as having our equipment and facilities provide a conducive learning environment.
