MABC Scholarships
Two options to help you complete your MABC Degree
Leadership in Counseling Matching Program

This scholarship is made possible through the generous support of FBS donors. Accepted MABC students will be given directions in August for how to apply for the scholarship.

HOW THE PROGRAM WORKS

If your local church or ministry agrees to pay $500 per year towards your tuition, FBS will match $500 from its scholarship fund. This means, per year, you will have $1,000 in tuition assistance towards earning your degree.

RESTRICTIONS AND CONDITIONS FOR ELIGIBILITY

  1. A student taking advantage of the LCMP must be enrolled in 3 classes per calendar year
  2. Students must not have personal or family income that exceeds $75,000 per year
  3. Funds are restricted to $500 per year dispersed in $250 increments per semester. The student is responsible for the remaining balance of tuition and fees
  4. A student must not already be receiving tuition assistance from their church
  5. Prior to receiving the LCMP students must complete a short application to be reviewed by the MABC scholarship committee
  6. LCMP scholarships are limited. FBS will determine how many scholarships it can disperse in a calendar year. This means that it is possible for qualifying students to not receive the scholarship due to insufficient funding.

Priority for receipt of LCMP scholarships is based on financial need. FBS will also give priority to,

  1. Students entering their first semester of classes,
  2. Students who are part of a church with an existing biblical counseling ministry and,
  3. Matriculating students
  4. FBS will award LCMP scholarships each year in October. The deadline for application is October 15.
