After years of praying, planning and faithful giving, we were excited to celebrate the Grand Opening of the FCS Expansion last fall. As the construction phase of this project has come to an end, we have seen significant improvements in the four areas of focus for this project: Academic Resources, Classroom Space, Building Security, and a dedicated Band Room. In the video to the right, you can hear directly from some of our teachers about how the Expansion has been transformative for our students.
Major projects like this give us the opportunity to reflect on God’s faithfulness and provision to Faith Christian School. We just started our 23rd year, and there have been so many changes since 1997 when we opened our doors to 46 high school students. God’s providence has led to tremendous growth in our enrollment and in our facilities, yet our mission of equipping students for a lifetime of pursuing and serving God has remained the same.
We are grateful for the many families and individuals who have sacrificially and faithfully given to the Expansion Initiative during our three-year capital campaign. Their generosity has helped us complete construction and occupy this new space. As our campaign finished in December 2020 we are close to fully funding this $1.4 million project.
